About Trans Equality Society

Trans Equality Society is a CBO (Community Based Organization) owned and managed by Transgender/ Hijra community. Presently the organization focuses on Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts in Telangana state but aims to work across both the Telugu states. Our objective is to bring the community together and provide them with skills and services to empower and to protect their sexual health and human rights. NALSA vs UOI third gender judgment by the Supreme Court of India but got registered during the pandemic times to reach out the working class Hijra and transgender community for nutrition, medical and livelihood help.
